A trade laser cutting, scoring and engraving service for designers, event stylists, sign makers, small businesses and makers who already have production-ready artwork.
You supply the file and choose the maximum material area and material/colour. I source the material, laser process your supplied artwork in my Adelaide studio, pack the finished pieces and send them to you.
Cut, score or engrave
- Score: blue 0.001pt vector line. Fastest process.
- Cut: red 0.001pt vector line. Cuts through the material and generally sits between scoring and engraving for machine time.
- Engrave: solid black fill. Slowest process because the laser rasters across the filled area.
Your file can contain a combination of all three. The base price includes the applicable cutting allowance. Engraving and unusually detailed files may require additional supervised machine time at $2 per minute. Any additional charge will be confirmed before production.
Engraving is ideal for items such as personalised timber height charts, plaques, keepsakes, measurement markings, logos and detailed text.
What your price covers
The base price covers the material required for your selected cutting area, an allowance toward inbound material freight to Adelaide, normal material handling and setup, and included laser cutting time. Shipping of your finished pieces is calculated separately at checkout.
Choose your maximum cutting area
Choose the smallest listed size that your complete file fits within. Multiple small pieces can be nested inside the selected area if your supplied file is already laid out that way.
Included laser cutting time
The base price includes approximately 3 minutes of laser cutting time for each 10 x 10cm of cutting area, capped at 30 minutes for larger sizes.
Additional machine time: $2 per minute above the included allowance. Intricate cutting and filled engraving can take considerably longer than simple shapes.
Materials
3mm Cast Acrylic: choose from the listed acrylic colours, with many more colours and specialty finishes available on request.
3mm Birch Plywood: a light, smooth laser-grade plywood widely used for laser-cut and engraved products. Ideal for height charts, plaques, signage, keepsakes and trade blanks. Natural grain and engraving tone will vary slightly from sheet to sheet.
Your file must be production ready
Please supply SVG, DXF, AI, EPS or vector PDF artwork at finished size. Use red 0.001pt strokes for CUT, blue 0.001pt strokes for SCORE, and solid black fill for ENGRAVE. Convert text to outlines, remove duplicate lines and make cut shapes closed paths.

Need multiples or regular production? Order the quantity required or contact us for larger batch pricing. Efficiently nested repeat jobs may be more economical.
Shipping & pickup
Shipping is calculated at checkout using packed order weight. Free standard shipping applies to orders over $250, and free pickup is available from Happy Valley, SA. Oversized finished pieces may require a courier adjustment, which will be confirmed before production.
Turnaround
Approximately 7–14 days, plus shipping time. Express 3-day turnaround may be available on request where material is available.
